February 21 - 7 pm            Presentation about James Pennington
Monday, FEBRUARY 21, 2011 - 7 P.M. Town Hall, Sharpsburg There will be a presentation by Dean Herrin about James Pennington, a slave who escaped from Rockland Plantation, just north of Sharpsburg, who eventually wrote his autobiography, "The Fugitive Blacksmith; or, Events in the History of James W. C. Pennington."

September 17 or 24 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.               Sharpsburg Heritage Festival
